Summary | 0000863: a face connected to more than 2 cells
Description | It seems that the dynamicRefineFvMesh will generate faces that connect more than two cells(with T-junction points). As far as I know, OpenFOAM uses owner and neighbour lists to store the face-cell info, how can it handle for a third one? The tutorial case under folder /multiphase/interDyMFoam/ras/damBreakWithObstatle shows the problem, and the screen shot is enclosed. I feel difficult to go deep into the code, as the algorithm is not so obvious.

This is a visualisation issue when displaying the split cells in ParaView only - try activating the 'Use VTKPolyhedron' option from the 'Properties' panel when using the OpenFOAM reader module (paraFoam) |
