The addition of the F3 term will change the results but it is recommended for some conditions, particularly with rough wall-functions. However, if the previous behaviour is prefered for some cases/conditions we could make the F3 term optional. |

Thank you very early reply. In my fan performance analysis, incompressible kOmegaSST model on September code shows good agreement to experimental result. So, if possible, I would like to use incompressible kOmegaSST model with changing option of F3 term. |

OK, we will add a switch for the F3 term (default off).
It would also be useful to know why the F3 term has such a dramatic effect on your case. Does your case run with it if you restart from a solution from the model without the F3 term? It looks like the start-up of the case is problemetic, maybe you could try under-relaxing the turbulence properties aggressively during the early part of the run, or start from a potential solution... It is possible that the F3 term is actually OK but the case is on the edge of stability and the F3 term pushed it over the edge. |

I thank to your reply and suggestion. I attach initial setting files and pattern diagram of calculation model. I will recheck my model. |

From this do you know why the F3 term has a significant impact on the case? Do any of my suggestions above help the case run with F3? |

F3 is now optional and the default is off.
