| Description | Hello, I'm not sure whether this is a bug or I made a mistake. I tried to use phaseStabilised in fvSchemes with incompressibleVoF by putting the following line in the fvSchemes file of the damBreak case: div(phi,alpha) Gauss interfaceCompression phaseStabilised vanLeer 1; and when I try to run the simulation, it says that it can't find alpha field and lists available fields, among which is the alpha.water field. So I guess that the phaseStabilised is searching for alpha instead of the alpha.water. All the best, Stefan | ||||

phaseStabilised is not currently implemented for VoF, it was developed and tested for multiphase Euler. We could undertake further development of phaseStabilised for VoF for you if you can provide funding. |

If this change would really considerably improve OpenFOAM surely it would have sufficient value to someone so that they would be willing to fund the modest effort involved. This development has never been requested before and so we have never received an offer of funding for it. |
