Summary | 0004187: mergeMesh deletes informations that are inside the cellZonesfiles
Description | If i want to merge Mesh A(master) which has cellZones a.1 a.2 and a.3 with Mesh B(to be merged) with cellZones b.1 b.2 b.3 I will lose all cellZones of mesh B because they will be written all together into cellZone b.1 . cellZones b.2 and b.3 are still existent but are empty afterwards.

Correct, mergeMeshes does not currently support cellZones, you can either generate the cellZones after merging the meshes or provide funding for the further development of mergeMeshes. |
|
Thank you Henry for the information, then i need to go back to FOAM11 as there it is working perfectly fine. |
