DescriptionHello,

I have first reported this bug here and have been asked to report it here https://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/openfoam-bugs/235280-bug-faceorientation-due-decomposing.html aswell. Here is the description:

mass flow rate outlet: 1.43 kg/s
mass flow rate preOulet: 0.689 kg/s
mass flow rate magPreOutlet:_ 1.43 kg/s

In the last time step it can clearly be seen, that there is no recirculation
Steps To Reproducedelete polymesh in constant
gmshToFoam meshblock.msh
surfaceFeatureExtract
snappyHexMesh -overwrite
transformPoints -scale '(0.001 0.001 0.001)'
topoSet
createPatch -overwrite
constant/polymesh/boundary --> change symmetryPlante to type symmetry
paraFoam show faceZones --> filters --> generate surface normals (remove splitting and consistency)
watch faceZone "preOutlet" (face normals are chaotic)
orientFaceZone preOutlet '(0 0 1)'
repeat previous step (face normals are alligned now)
decomposePar
mpirun -np 8 rhoCentralFoam -parallel > log
