Description | I wrote a DFBI (Dynamic Fluid Body Interaction) class which cause to move computational domain with body motion. body motion is calculated based on hydrodynamic loads and restraints. most of the codes look like rigidBodyMeshMotion class but inherited from points0MotionSolver. I found that restraints are not affected by ramp function but usually restraints forces are expected to work after ramp ends in order to have only flow fields developed. This class is of use in offshore fields i.e. VIM simulations for an alternative solution to morphing mesh. others may find their own usage. I have attached source code and tutorial case.
