Summary0003042: pseudo air flow produced with interFoam solver
DescriptionFor a container, if the bottom half is filled with water, the left is filled with air, as the interface is normal to gravity, both the air and water are expected to be at still state. But for an idealized case study with interFoam, unrealistic air flow is generated.
Steps To Reproduce1. copy the default damBreak case.

2. change the setFieldsDict as follow:
$diff system/setFieldsDict /opt/openfoam6/tutorials/multiphase/interFoam/laminar/damBreak/damBreak/system/setFieldsDict
27c27
< box (0 0 -1) (0.584 0.292 1);
---
> box (0 0 -1) (0.1461 0.292 1);

3. run the case and check the velocity field in paraFoam.

This is a known effect, do you have a proposal to avoid it?

Thanks for your confirmation. I do not know how to avoid it, I wonder whether you know what causes this problem?

No I have not investigated the issue in detail and it is likely to be VERY time consuming so would require funding. Are you planning to investigate it yourself and provide a patch to correct it?

I'm still new to OpenFOAM, so finding the bug is challenge to me.
