Summary | 0001336: usage of multiple fieldAverage function objects
Description | Hi, sometimes during postprocessing multiple instances of the fieldAverage function object are needed. However, in the fieldAverage.C file, the name of the dictionary propsDictHeader is fixed to "fieldAveragingProperties". I suggest to change this to the unique name of the fieldAverage object given by user in the system/control dictionary. This would be beneficial when using multiple function objects. Each instance of the fieldAverage function object overwrites the fieldAveragingProperties dictionary every time it is called which breaks the averaging of the previous fieldAverage function object. Best regards Matthias
Additional Information | Sometimes the postprocessing pipeline needs to average a quantity like Uprime2Mean first, then do some calculations using the averaged field and finally average the calculated field again.
