Description | Installing OF 230 from sourcepack per http://www.openfoam.org/download/source.php OpenFOAM works in test case (cavity) but ParaView module does not load, compiler can't find the files. Executing "ParaFoam" after icoFoam in the test case gives the following message. #begin output FATAL ERROR: ParaView reader module libraries do not exist Please build the reader module before continuing: cd $FOAM_UTILITIES/postProcessing/graphics/PV4Readers ./Allwclean ./Allwmake #end output $ParaView_DIR points to /home/[user]/OpenFOAM/ThirdParty-2.3.0/platforms/linux64Gcc/ParaView-4.1.-0 "bash: [$ParaView_DIR]: No such file or directory" | ||||

If you try to build OpenFOAM 2.3.1 from source on Ubuntu 14.10, you now might have a greater success of making it work.
