| Description | When using MRF in buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam incorrect results are produced. This is mostly noticeable by the reversed direction of the flow near the rotating parts, but the pressure is wrong too.
Attached I have three cases showing the problem. The first, simple_mixerVessel2D, is just the original mixerVessel2D simpleFoam tutorial.
The second, buoyant_mixerVessel2D, is a modification of the first case, but running buoyantSimpleFoam. It shows similar results as the original.
The third, boussinesq_mixerVessel2D, is again a modification, however this time for buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam. It shows different results compared to the first two cases. |
