Summary0004052: can not reconstruct the field when using flowRateInletVelocity with over 100 processors
DescriptionAfter running a simulation in a pipe using flowRateInletVelocity boundary conditions with 108 processors, I could not reconstruct the velocity field properly. You can refer to the error as in the below figure. When I tried with only 50 processors, it worked perfectly fine.
Steps To Reproduce1. Decompose the fields.
2. Run the test case for 1s.
3. Reconstruct the fields.

Can you reproduce the problem with OpenFOAM-11 or OpenFOAM-dev?

I tested your case in OpenFOAM-dev, ran it for 1 time-step writing the results at 1.2e-05s and reconstructed without any problem.

The same worked for OpenFOAM-10.

User support request.

It looks like the solution contains numerical errors which is why it cannot be reconstructed. Help resolving this by tuning the case settings is user support.

I ran the case to 0.05s is OpenFOAM 10, 11 and dev and reconstructed without any problem.
