Summary0002196: OF-Binary output sometimes leads to error message in Paraview (native reader) - "expected punctutation token"
DescriptionWhen doing OF-simulations (in my case with lagrangian particles and wallFilm) with binary output I sometimes get the following error message in Paraview:

ERROR: In /opt/OpenFOAM/ThirdParty-dev/ParaView-5.1.2/VTK/IO/Geometry/vtkOpenFOAMReader.cxx, line 7292
vtkOpenFOAMReaderPrivate (0x4f2bf90): Error reading line 21 of /Projekte/98_Testfaelle/01_removeInjection/05_Archiv_Berechnung/31_test_fehler/0.0017/lagrangian/reactingCloud1/positions: Expected punctuation token ')', found

In other computations with VOF we get this message in the "T" field.
Steps To ReproduceUse attached testcase, run reactingParcelFilmFoam then paraFoam -builtin

First occurence of the error at t=0.001s - you have to include the lagrangian data for that.
Additional InformationIn ASCII, everything works.
Also, when using OpenFOAM-Reader everything is fine.

In our postprocessing I like to use the native reader because parallel postprocessing is easier.

Not sure if the problem is the reading in PV or the writing in OF

You will need to report this problem to the maintainers of ParaView; it is not an issue with OpenFOAM or the OpenFOAM reader but with code released and maintained by KitWare which we cannot take responsibility for.
