Description | - OpenFOAM 7 installed as per the official guide (https://openfoam.org/download/7-ubuntu/) - Unable to execute 'paraFoam' command - - FATAL ERROR: The official reader module for OpenFOAM data does not exist on your system. This means that the version of ParaView you are using was not compiled with OpenFOAM, or distributed with a packaged version of OpenFOAM. | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | - Follow official installation guide - Run a solver (guide suggested pitzDaily/simpleFoam problem for example) - Issue 'paraFoam' command | ||||
Additional Information | - Re-installation of OpenFOAM-7 had no impact - Suggested 'paraFoam -builtin' work around successful - Result of an Ubuntu 19.04 v 19.10 incompatibility? | ||||

Thanks for reporting. There was an error in the Ubuntu 19.10 package, which I believe is now fixed. Please re-install with: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install openfoam7 Would be grateful if you could confirm the issue is resolved. |
