Summary | 0003335: 0003334: renumberMesh behavior in OF7 is not consistent with the behavior in OF6.
Description | Sorry for opening a new report but you closed the previous one. The options -noFields works if you do the operations in the order: renumberMesh -noFields setFields But if you do it in the reverse order: setFields renumberMesh -noFields It does not work. In OF6 works as it should be. Again, I dont know if this is the desired behavior, but maybe it can be a good idea to add a note in the source code about the order of the operations (if it is needed of course). I will check the new commit to see if I am still having the same problem. In any-case, OF6 (and ESI version) works as it should be.

It is not clear why you have re-opened this report, I closed the previous one because I fixed the problem and pushed the fixes. Have you tested them? Have you found that it is still not working? For me it now works fine. |

I didn't read the last notes in the previous report, sorry about that. I installed the commit and everything seems to be working as it should be. I will do some more testing. |
