Do the arcs turn more than 90deg? If so this cannot be done with the transfinite interpolation in blockMesh and the blocks must be sub-divided.

Yes the arcs would have been 180deg. Subdividing them did the trick.

Arcs > 90deg cannot be handled by the transfinite interpolation in blockMesh.
