@milad092 Please, would you mind to explain a bit more the context in which this happen? Without further information it is difficult to see any connection between the reported issue and OpenFOAM. |

Based on the little information made available: 1- If it really is Ubuntu 17.04. then support for it ended on the 13th of January 2018: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases - therefore, you should upgrade to a more recent Ubuntu version. 2- The error message does state that the command: sudo apt update should be executed. Failing to do that, will always result in that error. 3- I'm assuming that it will still fail to run the update command, therefore follow the instructions given here: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1002439/unable-to-upgrade-from-ubuntu-17-04-to-17-10 In the meantime, I'm closing this as user support... if the error was about the Deb packages provided by the OpenFOAM Foundation, it would be one thing, but this clearly is a problem with Ubuntu and should have been asked at https://askubuntu.com ;) |
