Summary | 0002964: Infinite Tracking Loop with icoUncoupledKinematicFoam
Description | Good evening, I was trying to simulate a flow of particles dragged by a frozen velocity field (I have attached the simulation set-up). Unfortunately after only 0.02s the solver seems to enter in an infinite while loop inside the move function of the particle. Can you help me to solve this issue?

You haven't specified which OpenFOAM version you are using, if it is not OpenFOAM-dev try this version. |
|
I have tried with both OpenFOAM 5.0 and OpenFOAM-dev and I experience the same issue at the same time, i.e. 0.02124 s |
|
User error. There are duplicate patchInteractionModel entries and a "none" model is being selected. Particles are not rebounding/sticking/escaping, they are just hitting the same bit of wall over and over, hence the infinite loop. |
