Summary | 0002878: 0002877: Where is support for the Intel Compiler ("Icc")? (again...)
Description | Since you closed the previous issue without giving me a chance to reply to it... I am opening another one. It is generally bad form to give one reply to something without letting the requestor respond to tell you if that actually solves the issue or not. quote: "You need to set WM_COMPILER=Icc The build rules are in wmake/rules and those for the Intel compiler are in wmake/rules/linux.*Icc.* " I **have** set that variable as suggested. It is still setting everything to gcc. I am building from a current clone of the 5.x github repo. Upon seeing this, I then looked at the files that the bashrc (where I have set said variable) is sourcing. Those files contain no references to Icc or the intel compiler that I can see, which I think may contribute to what is happening.
