DescriptionHi Support,

I'm having trouble trying to compile 5.x It seems to fail on compiling STLsurfaceFormatASCII.L.C.

I'm not sure what the error is and hoping some light can be shed.

The attached is from my Centos7.4 build. I get the same problem with CentOS6.9
Steps To ReproduceUntar, modify etc/bashrc to meet site specific settings, source environment, build thirdparty software, resource environment, build openfoam
Additional InformationIntel Compilers: 2017.2.174 ( sorry I forget specifically which update this one was, I think U2)
OpenMPI Version: 2.1.2 ( built with Intel Compilers mentioned)

This is not an issue with OpenFOAM, it looks like the version of flex you have on your system is not compatible with the compiler you are using. Either use gcc or clang instead of the Intel compiler or report the issue to Intel or report the issue with flex and the Intel compiler to the maintainers of CentOS.
