Summary0002755: Problem while compiling Paraview 5.4.0 through installing OF 5.x using source code
DescriptionWhen I try to compile Paraview 5.4.0, after that praview had been downloaded it gives this error:
CMake Error at VTK/GUISupport/Qt/CMakeLists.txt:69 (find_package):
By not providing "FindQt5.cmake" in CMAKE_MODULE_PATH this project has
asked CMake to find a package configuration file provided by "Qt5", but
  CMake did not find one.

Could not find a package configuration file provided by "Qt5" with any of
  the following names:

    Qt5Config.cmake
    qt5-config.cmake

Add the installation prefix of "Qt5" to CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH or set "Qt5_DIR"
to a directory containing one of the above files. If "Qt5" provides a
separate development package or SDK, be sure it has been installed.

What is the soulution?
Thanks

If you want to build OpenFOAM 5.x, you should follow the instructions given here: https://openfoam.org/download/source/ - which means that you should also use the source code repository for ThirdParty-5.x, not the 5.0 folder.
This is because this specific bug you have tripped on was fixed on ThirdParty-5.x: https://bugs.openfoam.org/view.php?id=2640

I'll close and mark this as already solved.

I'm sorry for reopening this. But on the bug you had issued I couldn't found the solution!
Can you tell me clearly, what should I do in order to solve this?

I had run export QT_SELECT=qt4 in this path: /opt/ThirdParty-5.0-----> But after running ./makeParaView I got the same error!

In the instructions provided here: https://openfoam.org/download/source/
... more specifically here: https://openfoam.org/download/source/downloading-source-code/

... it's indicated that you should download the respective "ThirdParty-*" version package.

Therefore, since you are using OpenFOAM 5.x, you should download the respective package from here: https://github.com/OpenFOAM/ThirdParty-5.x
For example, you can do that by running:

   git clone https://github.com/OpenFOAM/ThirdParty-5.x.git

That is why I referred you to the other 2 links on my previous comment.

Thanks dear Bruno,
I have followed the provided instructions but again after running ./makeParaView command I get the following message! What should I do now?

linux7@linux7-All-Series:/opt/ThirdParty-5.x$ ./makeParaView

From https://openfoam.org/download/source/software-for-compilation/

  * Install packages for ParaView

       sudo apt-get install qt4-dev-tools libqt4-dev libqt4-opengl-dev freeglut3-dev libqtwebkit-dev

From https://bugs.openfoam.org/view.php?id=2640 - run the following before "makeParaView":

  export QT_SELECT=qt4

Afterwards it should work as intended, because this is how Qt 4 is selected on Ubuntu.

@Chris: In page https://openfoam.org/download/source/software-for-compilation/ - section "Installing dependent packages on Ubuntu (versions 14.04 or above)" - please add the following information for building ParaView:

  * Note: If Qt 5 is also installed in Ubuntu, the following should be executed before running makeParaView:

        export QT_SELECT=qt4

I have done what you suggested, but if using Ubuntu 16.04 why not just install the 5.x pack?:
