Summary | 0002122: Interface to external ODE solver package
Description | Has there been any plans to create interface between OpenFOAM and external stiff ODE solver packages like Sundials CVODE? I have planned to implement an interface for some detailed chemistry computations in the near future. I was just wondering if some sort of work regarding this would have been already initiated? -Heikki

We have looked into it but it is a bit messy. So far we have not seen any strong evidence that CVODE would provide better performance than seulex for stiff systems but it would be interesting to see a set of careful comparisons. |
